This major exhibition traces 30 years of Studio Ghibli, the most famous animation studio in Japan. Visitors will discover how the Studio Ghibli works were brought to life and how they rose to international fame. The displays include the first posters created for Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, the actual proposals for the advertising campaign, and much more.
Find out how Ghibli created the titles and the ad copy while you savor the real-life studio atmosphere. Come face to face with popular characters including the Catbus from My Neighbor Totoro, or the Ohm creatures from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. You will love a display of Totoro figurines in the style of the traditional Yachimun pottery of Okinawa as well. Exclusive gift items only available at the Okinawan venue are sold in the gift shop.

The museum is closed on Mondays, on July 16, and on August 13. * The museum will be open on July 15 and August 12.
