True to its name, this beach offers a beautiful view of the emerald green sea and contrasting white beach. The place is also designated as one of “the 55 Selected Beaches in Japan” by the Environment Agency. You can even look over all the way to Ie Island.
The popular beach is open for swimming from April to October, and every year at end of July, the beach also becomes the site for the popular summer festival fireworks.

21st Century Forest Beach is an artificial beach in the park that also houses the Nago Civic Baseball Stadium, where the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters professional baseball team holds annual spring training camp, a multipurpose field, an outdoor stage and several other facilities. There is a small island at the center of the beach that divides the beach into three sections by usage (play beach, community beach, and Sunset Beach). All beach sections are equally beautiful and abound with activities like beach volleyball and barbeque. Open throughout the year.

Busena Cape is the home of the Bankoku Shiryokan Hall, the main venue for the July 2000 Kyushu-Okinawa G8 Summit Heads of State and Government Meeting, which is a part of an international ocean resort area. On the cape also stands the Busena Terrace luxury resort hotel, with its spacious white-sand beach. Circled with palm trees, it is an ideal spot to enjoy a resort atmosphere. On the far right-hand side of the beach, the Busena Resort Underwater Observatory offers a 360-degree view of the ocean.
